Porfis Chair

The Porfis chair, the first piece of the eponymous collection, stands out for the contrast between the almost artisanal warmth of raw wool and the avant-garde spirit of steel and geometric shapes.

In this search between simplicity and singularity, the designer has established a contrasting dialogue between materials, shapes and sensations, making Porfis an unclassifiable object.

The chair is also practical and sustainable, with a bag holder on the back legs, a dismountable frame and fully removable upholstery.

Its name, Porfis (short for ‘por favor’, i.e. ‘please’) is inspired by the work of conceptual artist John Baldessari, to whom it pays homage.
